Values Quiz

What are your top five values?  Your values have a lot to say about who you are as a person, and they also change over time.  Periodic checks are a great way to see if your activities are contributing to what you really believe in!

2. Get out your to-do list, Blackberry, Calendar, notebook, napkin, or organizer-of-choice, and hold your list of values next to it.

3. Check them against each other, and see if they match up.  Find any gaping holes?  Things you believe in but aren't doing, or vice versa?

4. Date your values list, and stick it somewhere you can see it daily (perhaps in that notebook or on that Palm Pilot?).

Values do change over time.  When things seem frustrating and overwhelming, chances are your actual values aren't reflected in the choices you're making Take a look at what you truly value, and let the other things drop down lower on (or off of) your to-to list!
